Terms of Service

Welcome to MindLoop ("App"), operated by CachePile. These Terms govern your use of the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

MindLoop is a mindfulness and affirmation application that lets you:

  • Sign in with Google or with an email/password account (via Firebase Authentication).
  • Write personal affirmations and convert them to spoken audio. Audio is generated by our server-side backend using Google Cloud Text-to-Speech.
  • Save affirmations, playlists, and generated audio on your device, and play relaxing background tracks.
  • Purchase optional premium plans ("MindLoop Plus") and character top-ups.

2. Accounts & Security

  • Account options: a Google account or an email/password account managed by Firebase Authentication.
  • Your responsibility: you are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and device passcode.
  • Cross-device data: your subscription and credit balance are associated with your account; affirmations and audio are stored on your device.

3. Subscriptions, Billing & Refunds

  • MindLoop Plus is offered as monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, plus a consumable character top-up, through Google Play Billing.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Google Play account.
  • Credits: paid plans grant a character allowance used for audio generation, with expiry terms shown at purchase. Credits are consumed when you generate audio.
  • Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policies.

4. Generated Audio & Acceptable Use

  • Processing: affirmation text you submit is sent to our backend and to Google Cloud Text-to-Speech to generate audio.
  • Acceptable use: you agree not to submit text that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or infringing. We may suspend generation features for accounts that violate these standards.
  • No warranty on outputs: generated audio is provided "as is"; we make no warranty as to its tone, naturalness, or suitability.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Your content: you retain ownership of the affirmation text you write. We use it only to provide the service (including generating and caching your audio).
  • App content: the App's interface, designs, the MindLoop lotus logo, branding, background music, and code are the property of CachePile and its licensors.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

  • Wellness disclaimer: MindLoop is a self-help tool, not a medical device, and does not provide medical or psychiatric advice.
  • As-is: the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
  • Limitation: to the maximum extent permitted by law, CachePile is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we handle it. By using the App you acknowledge that Privacy Policy.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see the in-app Delete Account option or our Account Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the App unlawfully. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

9. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or the App will be subject to the courts of the Philippines, except where applicable law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your own place of residence. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

10. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CachePile regarding the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date and/or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
